Google’s page for IE

Google has this page customized page setup for Firefox users at http://google.com/firefox. This is the homepage that gets setup for Firefox users after the first install. Similarly, I tried to see if they had anything setup for Safari, Opera, IE etc… and as it turns out, there is one for ie at http://google.com/ie. Its a weird little page in which the textfield stretches right across the page and the results returned contain only the title.

I wonder why folks at Google have this page up there…

That page is meant to be used through the IE Search panel (goto View->Explorer bar->Search)

If Google was already setup as your search engine of choice in IE Options … then you will see the content from http://www.google.com/ie in this side-bar!

lol… no wonder i didnt know about that…. i dont use IE… and when I did… I really didnt care about IE or Google… But, thnx fer the info…
